You might be heard about benefits of healthy eating habits for your health. But you maybe do not know that smart eating habits are also ways to live longer.

   

The average life expectancy in the world varies from 70 to 80 years old. However, thanks to the following shared tips, you can live longer than that.

 

#1: Eating raw fresh foods 

 

In fact, unlike what we think, processed food is not a star for your health. A 2019 study found that people were allowed to eat processed and super processed foods at 508 calories per day compared to those who could only eating raw fresh foods. Highly processed foods are often filled with sugar and oil. They are unhealthy and salt also leads to weight gain, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

 

#2: Fresh green vegetables intake

 

Why is it important to eat green leafy vegetables when they are fresh as possible?

 

Francisco Nunez Olivera once held the longest living record in the world, who lived until he was 113 in a small Spanish village. As the oldest living person in the world, this man lived by eating fresh vegetables grown in a garden that he and his family plant. The garden has kept him healthy and happy for over 11 decades. So you should focus on cruciferous and leafy green varieties.

#3: Less sugar intake
