According to Forbes' list of the world's top 100 brands, Louis Vuitton (LV) is at the forefront of luxury. It surpassed Chanel, Gucci, Prada, and countless other famous fashion houses. For brand-name girls, being able to own bags, costumes, shoes, belts of this luxury brand is always on their dreams.

Louis Vuitton is valued at $25.9 billion, up 7% from 2011. This is a brand owned by LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA (LVMH) based in Paris, France. Hermes, a brand held by LVMH, jumped to No. 2 in this year's ranking with a value of $19.1 billion, up 61% from the same period last year. Switzerland's famous Rolex brand is in third place, priced at $7.17 billion, up 36%. According to the BrandZ report, the quality and sophistication of the luxury product, along with its heritage and long history, are the main factors that determine the success of luxury brands. Nick Cooper, CEO of Millward Brown Optimor, said that brand makers can pursue brand management as a key factor to build long-term financial value. At the current valuation level, Louis Vuitton's brand value is nearly one-third of LVMH's market capitalization of 61.06 billion Euro (equivalent to 78 billion USD).
