Mysterious murder tour is part of the collaboration between The Murder Mystery Company and The Napa Valley Wine Train that launched on Saturday, April 13 and available on each selected day.
Information on Mysterious Murder Tour
The Murder Mystery Company is the largest theater company in the United States founded in 2002 by Scott R. Cramton which hosts comedy murder mysteries. Through the new Murder Mystery Tour, passengers will be turned back in time in the 1920s to solve a murder. This journey lasts three hours on the historic train and includes many trips.

The story of Murder Mystery Tour is set in the period of US prohibition to bring the experience of Murder Mystery Company “Crime and punishment”. This journey includes 1920 bandits, jealous lovers, a rival of Mafioso and a pair of federal agents. By exchanging clues and collecting information, passengers will work together to solve the crime before the time runs out and the killer escapes.
The menu on the train will start with an appetizer including Skyhill farms goat cheese, shaved fennel, radishes, toasted almonds, and champagne-dijon vinaigrette or a warm cup of soup, etc. For the main dish, passengers can choose their own in the list of available dishes like sliced roasted tenderloin of beef, lemon thyme roasted chicken, brown sugar-glazed pork tenderloin, kale and quinoa salad, etc. Dessert will be very unique with Chef Donald Youngs creativity.
Dressing
Guests are encouraged to wear tassel skirts, pinstripe suits, feather boas, sequin headbands, elbow-length gloves, and fedoras, etc, which are 1920s style costumes. However, if passengers do not like it, they may not need to comply because this is not mandatory.
It can hardly be denied that this is an exciting train journey that is worth experiencing.
