Street Food Car by Benedetto Bufalino - A New Wind In The Urban Landscape

The car has been cut into two parts to provide ample space for frying fresh fries while providing a spacious preparation space for the owner. Abstract design of real street food car designed to catch the eye on the street and create a visual impression in urban area. Benedetto Bufalino is known for his unique art of turning things into functional objects. This work of him is created in collaboration with La condition Publique, who framed the design review idea of a Friterie -a fried car (food potato or van, primarily used to serve French fries. Benedetto deliberately cut the car horizontally into two parts, creating enough space in the middle. The upper part, including the car's windows and headlights, is placed slightly above the roof. Like most of its previous creations, this red Fiat Coupe turns into a street food car that also changes the original purpose of an object, in this case, the right choice. Bufalino transformed the red fiat coupé into a one-of-a-kind street food car by cutting it up in two in a horizontal direction. The fiat's original function is disappeared to become a sculptural piece that attracts the public to contemplate on the use of the car, but also to enjoy a convivial food tasting on the street.
