- 50s: Consume more disease-fighting foods such as cruciferous veggies, salmon, leafy green veggies, garlic as well as calcium-rich foods such as kale and sardines. Also, men in their 50s should improve balance, strength, posture as well as joint mobility with exercise such as pushups, lunges and planks. Moreover, getting good sleep is very important.
